Liverpool Ramblers Amateur Football Club have been visiting Puerto Pollensa to play against the local veteran side for 20 years now, and to mark the occasion Puerto Pollensa Football Club decided to give Liverpool something really special.
The resulting flag, seen below being displayed by Puerto Pollensa's Juan Aguilar, marks the 20 years of friendship between the two teams that recently has seen local players and their families making return visits to Liverpool's ground. In the actual match played at the end of last month, and in keeping with the years-old tradition, Liverpool lost 5-2 to the home side. |
